Facts about me

To kick start this blog, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself a little more so you guys can get to know me :) Here are a few facts about myself!

• I am originally from Kentucky but now live in Indiana (4 hours from home).

• I have a bachelors of science in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Psychology. I am currently finishing my semester of graduate school and will soon have a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy degree. I graduate in August 2021 (it is currently June as I write this) and have already accepted a great job offer working with children from birth-3 years with disabilities.

• I met my fiancé when I moved to Indiana for graduate school. We are getting married April 9, 2022 and just bought a house in November of 2020.

• I am a cat person (sorry to all the dog lovers) and I have two adorable cats named Ivy (the black one below) and Sprout. I also have a guinea pig named Milo.

• I love staying home and watching Netflix but I also enjoy going to wineries with friends (even though I am not a drinker personally), going hiking, going to the Dunes (our version of a midwest beach haha), traveling, laying by the pool, ice skating, and kayaking.

• I love going on mission trips and have currently been on 4 international mission trips to Guatemala, Haiti, Peru, and China.

• I loooovvveee pizza, pasta, and tacos but I also have a pretty severe gluten allergy which limits my diet.

• I played softball growing up and still try to stay somewhat active by working out at home for my current and future health.

• I have 2 brothers, one younger and one older, and one older sister.

• My favorite movies are Jump Street and the Jurassic park movies. My favorite shows include gossip girl, survivor, greys anatomy, and fixer upper.

• My favorite comfort food is baked lays and chocolate chip cookies or brownies.

• My fiancé and I have a Sunday tradition of going to church in the mornings and getting Qdoba for lunch.
